At your initial free consultation we will begin by collecting basic patient information.  Dr. Bhalla will conduct a thorough orthodontic examination to evaluate your or your child’s dental health and orthodontic needs, and explain any orthodontic issues, if he has found anything. He will also explain any recommended treatment, including whether braces for you or your child are recommended. You will learn how long the treatment process will take and what the complete treatment, including braces, will cost.

It is our goal that when you leave our Mississauga office, you will have a thorough understanding of our recommendations for orthodontic treatment. The orthodontist will describe the steps involved in your orthodontic treatment and what is required to achieve the intended results.

Dr. Bhalla will also let you know about the different types of braces (metal braces, clear ceramic braces, Invisalign® clear aligners, or lingual braces) that are available for your treatment plan. Based on the type of braces that will be used, we will determine the exact cost for your orthodontic treatment.

If you want to go ahead with our orthodontic treatment plan, we can begin the process right away, by generating complete records, including photographs, x-rays and impressions (moulds of your teeth) or we can schedule a separate appointment for generating records. We will also set up a schedule of appointments for your treatment.
