Dr. Gagan Bhalla is a practicing Orthodontist for over 35 years. Dr. Bhalla was educated in India and United States. Dr. Bhalla achieved his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of New York at Buffalo, New York and accomplished his Orthodontic program from St. Louis University, Missouri, and is certified by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in Ontario. Dr. Bhalla started his private practice in Mississauga where he has been practicing over 29 years.
Dr. Bhalla is committed to continuous learning, professional development and contributing to the development of high standards of Orthodontic care. He regularly attends industry conferences and workshops with the aim of incorporating established technologies and treatment modalities for the benefits of patient care and optimized outcomes.
He is an active member of numerous industry associations including –

Dr. Bhalla has been recognized with many awards (recognitions) including –
- The Melvin Jones Fellow presented by the Lions Club International Foundation
- The Humanitarian Award from Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce
- Prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Pravasi Gold Medal that was conferred on him in the House of Lords in London, U.K.
- The Mississauga Erin Mills Lions Club also presented him with the Lion of the Year award for his dedication and community services.
He has been bestowed with the following esteemed Fellowships of the –
- American College of Dentists
- International College of Dentists and
- Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Bhalla has served as an Ontario director of the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists representing Ontario Association of Orthodontists for a three-year term from 2014-2017. He is an active member and former Vice-President of the Mississauga Erin Mills Lions Club. He has served as a Board Member for the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation. Dr. Bhalla was also the Vice-President and Board of Director for Patanjali Yogpeeth (PYP) Canada.
Beside a Smile Maker he is passionate about creating awareness and educating Canadians on the holistic benefits of Yoga and Meditation and he has positively impacted the lives of thousands of people by teaching them how to live a healthy life.
At present Dr. Bhalla is serving as a Secretary of Vedic Spiritual Heritage Foundation. Over the years he has also been giving back to the community as a philanthropist, by supporting a number of charities, locally and as well as globally.
Besides enjoying his family time with his wife Uma and their two sons Sean and Rohan, and daughter in-law Tanya, Dr. Bhalla also enjoys the Yoga, art of photography, travelling, reading, and playing Golf, Cricket, Badminton and Table Tennis.
